As a development engineer, you will participate in internal development projects to analyze and test materials, and have the opportunity to collaborate with national and international companies and institutions, as well as suppliers and customers. With us, you will contribute to the development of advanced solutions that form the basis for future defense and aerospace technology.
Main tasks:
Work with materials to be used in propulsion systems for rocket engines/missiles
Material selection for applications that require the materials to withstand very high temperatures
Acquisition, processing, analysis and use of materials with high thermal insulation performance
Increase expertise in thermal insulation materials, refractory materials, processing of components and sustainable utilization of raw materials
We are looking for you who have:
Relevant education (BSc, MSc, Ph.D) and experience in chemistry or materials technology
General technical understanding and interest in interdisciplinary issues
Good written and oral skills in Norwegian and English
