The explosives department at Nammo Raufoss AS is a leading player in the production of energetic materials and the assembly of ammunition and shoulder-fired weapons. We produce ammunition components, shoulder-fired rocket systems and finished ammunition for military use. The department consists of 150 employees, and the process department that you will be part of has 20 engineers with different backgrounds and experience. Our engineers play a key role in the development of the department, and you will work closely with both internal and external partners.
As an HSE engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our department complies with applicable laws and regulations, and you will actively contribute to the development and improvement of our HSE processes. You will work closely with operations and other support functions to create a safe and sustainable workplace.

Tasks:
Driver for development and improvement within the department's HSE work
Development and maintenance of the department's internal control
Preparing risk assessments
Guiding the department's engineers in relation to HSE issues HSE issues
Assist in training and raising awareness of employees in HSE and handling of energetic materials
Participate in audits, emergency exercises and improvement work
Follow-up of adverse events and deviations
Responsible for following up the department's exposure register
Qualifications:
Relevant higher education, experience can compensate for this requirement
Good oral and written presentation skills
Be fluent in Norwegian and English, written and oral
