Nammo is in the process of building a new department for digitalization, which will drive modernization and improvement of our work processes. In this context, we are now looking for an Application Specialist Production who will be the link between our production departments and technology. You will play a key role in shaping how our ERP (D365 F&O), MES and other manufacturing applications support our production processes, and be a driving force in making production more efficient, data-driven and modern.
In the role, you will ensure that our digital tools support business processes in an efficient, user-friendly and standardized way. You will be an expert in processes and routines related to production, and have a deep understanding and knowledge of ERP, MES and other tools we use.
Main tasks
Be process responsible for production in ERP and/or other support tools
Ensure that work processes in ERP and other support tools are in line with business needs and group standards
Provide training and user support to key users and line organization
Participate in testing, approval and roll-out of changes to our applications
Interact closely with the Group's application resources and contribute actively in relevant professional forums
Collaborate closely with our production departments to ensure systems meet business needs

Keep up to date on new functionality and drive improvements
Help connect systems closer to the production floor and ensure good integrations
Identify and drive initiatives for automation, efficiency and continuous improvement
Desired qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, engineering or technology. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
Experience from management/further development of ERP/MES systems in an industrial/manufacturing company, or relevant consulting background
Experience with production-related IT systems (eg. Experience with production-related IT systems (e.g. SCADA, IoT or other shopfloor tools) is an advantage
Experience with LEAN or continuous improvement in a production environment
Good understanding of logistics and production processes
Good understanding of system work, data quality and change management
Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English
