Nammo is experiencing strong growth and is looking for a committed and professionally confident HSE advisor in occupational hygiene who will help develop and strengthen our HSE work. In this role, you will be a key professional resource in the HSE department - someone who both possesses solid expertise and shares it with the rest of the organization.

You will work closely with managers and employees to identify, assess and reduce health hazards in our work environment. The position gives you a unique opportunity to influence how we work with health, safety and environment in practice - and help create a safe, healthy and sustainable work environment in line with applicable laws and regulations.

You will, among other things, work with:

  • Conduct and assist in risk assessments of the work environment

  • Plan and conduct measurements of chemical, physical and biological factors to assess exposure levels

  • Map and analyze the work environment to identify potential health hazards associated with chemical use and other exposures

  • Develop procedures and guidelines based on findings from risk assessments and measurements

  • Suggest and implement measures that reduce or eliminate exposure to hazardous substances and conditions

  • Contribute to training and increased awareness of health, safety and occupational hygiene safety and good occupational hygiene

  • Provide guidance and training in the proper use of personal protective equipment

  • Participate in inspections and evaluations of the working environment

  • Keep up to date on current regulations and best practices in HSE and occupational hygiene

We are looking for you who have:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in occupational hygiene, work environment or related field. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education

  • Good knowledge of laws and regulations within health, environment and safety

  • Experience and knowledge of the REACHregulations (desirable)

  • Analytical skills and ability to identify and solve complex problems

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across the organization

  • Certification in occupational hygiene (desirable)

  • Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian and English
