Group Leader Quality Assurance Nammo Raufoss is looking for a clear, confident and solution-oriented Group Leader for the department "QUALITY ASSURANCE - Ammunition".

This is a key leadership role for you who are motivated by developing people, strengthening the quality culture and ensuring compliance with requirements in line with the company's strategies.

The department "Quality Assurance - Ammunition" currently consists of approx. 20 employees who support the organization with quality assurance in production and development projects for ammunition.

As a team leader, you will have personnel responsibility for some of the quality assurance engineers in the department.

The main tasks of the position include taking responsibility for ensuring efficient resource utilization, competence development and a good professional and social culture.

The role is a key function in the work of ensuring that quality work is carried out in line with applicable standards, customer requirements and internal guidelines.

The position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager for Ammunition.

Duties:

• Personal responsibility: Lead and follow up Quality Assurance Engineers, including competence development and HR related tasks.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with efficient resource utilization, right capacity and good work processes in the team.
• Follow up deviations, wreckage costs and quality indicators, as well as ensure closure of deviations.
• Contribute to the planning, implementation and follow-up of training in quality methodologies in the organization.
• Facilitate and participate in regular collaboration meetings.
• Strengthen the quality culture and drive continuous improvement in the production environment.
• Assist the quality assurance manager with administrative tasks, improvement projects and recruitment when needed.

Qualifications:

• Higher education at bachelor's or master's level, preferably in technology, quality or industry.
• Experience with management or team responsibility in a production or development environment is desirable, but candidates without management experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of quality work and relevant standards (ISO 9001, AQAP 2110, AS9100) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of systematic and structured improvement work and quality in industrial processes.
• Good Norwegian and English language skills, written and spoken.
