Verktøyfabrikken at Nammo Raufoss is looking for a Master Hardener for the hardening shop.

We are looking for a committed and proactive person who wants to contribute to stable operations and high quality in our heat treatment processes.

In the hardening shop, hardening and heat treatment of components is carried out for both internal and external customers.

As a Master Hardener, you will be trained in machines, equipment and processes, and you will play an important role in day-to-day operations.

The position also involves working in the afternoons, where attendance is expected twice a week to operate hardening furnaces.

Tasks:

  • Serve internal and external customers.

  • Plan and follow up capacity and progress in the curing plant.

  • Operation and maintenance of curing ovens and associated equipment.

  • Reporting, control and documentation.

  • Operator maintenance.

  • Contribute to improvement work (Lean, 5S, SMED).

  • Work according to quality requirements, including deviation management and HSE routines.

  • Participate in team meetings.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Mechanical certificate, preferably as a CNC operator or toolmaker (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education).

  • Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge.

  • Accurate, reliable and structured way of working.

  • Experience from the goods manufacturing industry is an advantage.

  • Understanding of production flow, working drawings and material science.

  • Good computer skills.

  • Knowledge of HSE, quality and continuous improvement work (Lean, 5S, SMED).
