At Nammo, we have about 50 quality assurance engineers spread across two departments, and we work closely on both development and production projects. As a quality assurance engineer with us, you’ll play a key role in ensuring quality in one or more delivery and development projects, from the early concept phase to the finished product in series production.

We are seeking candidates for the following roles:

• Quality Assurance Engineer – Project QA Development: Ensure that quality requirements are met in development projects from concept to finished product, and ensure that we develop robust products.

• Quality Assurance Engineer – Project QA Series Production: Monitor our qualified products, ensure they meet the technical requirements set for the product, and certify the products prior to delivery.

• Quality Assurance Engineer – Production: Help foster a greater understanding of quality in our production environments and support our quality assurance processes in these areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and quality-assuring activities in accordance with Nammo’s management system

• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, including AS9100

• Establish and review project-specific documents and technical documentation

• Monitoring quality in projects and production, and helping to prevent defects and nonconformities

• Facilitating and quality-assuring nonconformity handling, including support for root cause analyses and corrective actions

• Initiate and lead improvement and efficiency projects

• Work closely with production, projects, and suppliers to ensure quality at every stage

We are looking for someone who:

• Has expertise and experience with quality assurance in various parts of the value chain

• Holds a college degree in technical fields, engineering, or has equivalent relevant experience

• Have experience with quality assurance in industrial production, development projects, or the defense industry

• Are familiar with AS9100 or other quality standards

• Have experience with nonconformity handling, root cause analysis, and improvement initiatives

• Are confident in communicating with various professional groups and able to convey requirements and expectations clearly and constructively
