The rocket engine factory (OPR) at Nammo Raufoss has approx. 250 employees and produces rocket engines for both military purposes and aerospace products. We are currently experiencing strong growth, and our process department is being reorganized to meet the needs of the future.
In this connection, we are looking for:

  • Two group leaders for the process engineers in OPR

  • One group leader for a newly created department within industrialization and product development

The process department currently consists of nearly 25 employees with responsibility for production documentation, quality and HSE within their process areas. With the new organization, we strengthen the focus on technical development, structured follow-up and effective collaboration. The team leaders will report to the production manager and will be responsible for both daily management and professional development in their respective teams.


Responsibilities and tasks:

The position involves a combination of managerial and professional tasks, divided approximately equally between:

  • About 50% managerial responsibility - personnel management, coordination and development of the professional environment

  • About 50% work with process-related tasks within their own professional area

Qualifications:

  • Engineering education at bachelor level or equivalent

  • Good technical understanding

  • Previous management experience is desirable

  • Experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement work, automation and investment projects is an advantage
