Responsibilities and Tasks
- Establish and support improvement teams
- Set and track goals for improvement initiatives
- Conduct value stream mapping of processes and follow up with related activities
- Conduct training in improvement work
- Take ownership of the department’s progress in improvement work
- Design, decide on, and implement improvement measures
Qualifications
- Technical college degree or BSc in industrial engineering.
- Other technical education or experience may also be relevant
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable
- Strong computer skills
- Strong knowledge of improvement methods (LEAN, PDCA, Six Sigma)
