The Mechanical Department at Nammo Raufoss is seeking a dedicated and proactive HESS manager who will help run and further develop one of our production areas.

You will play a key role in a high-tech and mission-critical production environment, where safe operations, quality at every stage, and strong collaboration are essential.

You will be part of a large and skilled department with over 300 employees working on everything from ammunition components to advanced aerospace and rocket components.

You will work closely with management and employees on HESS matters and have the opportunity to develop professionally.

The job involves overseeing the department’s systematic HESS efforts and participating in exciting projects.

Typical responsibilities will include, for example, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, preparing risk assessments for processes and chemicals, developing emergency response plans and conducting fire drills, providing guidance to the department’s management and employees on HESS matters, following up on incidents and nonconformities, participating in audits, and generally developing the department’s HESS efforts.

We expect you to have:

• Vocational school education or higher education.

• Practical experience may compensate for formal education.

• Experience in HESS work.
