Due to significant growth, it is needed to strengthen Nammo`s approach towards its portfolio of Tank Ammunition. We are looking for a person who can strengthen the Business Units ability to drive development and strategy for Tank Ammunition.

Job Overview

The Program Director is the product owner for its respective products. As product owner you are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of key programs, related to the product within the business unit. You will also ensure that programs are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, are completed on time, within scope, and budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.

The role is responsible for establishing, monitoring and tracking the product strategy. In addition to being responsible to manage the program/product portfolio including joint programs with partners, identifying and own incremental developments, hereunder value chain development. This role requires a blend of leadership, project management, and technical expertise to oversee multiple complex programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless communication between all stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring a healthy product portfolio and initiatives that support the business unit's growth and profitability.

Main Tasks

• Strategic Planning and Development

  • Lead the development and execution of the long-term strategic plan for the 120mm MBT portfolio

• Exercise Program Ownership

  • Develop and implement detailed program mandates in alignment with business unit`s strategic goals.

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of programs and products.

  • Maintain and develop roadmaps within 120mm MBT portfolio.

• Pricing Strategy and Program Profitability

  • Develop and track program profitability targets

• Strategic value chain development

  • Develop the portfolio value chain

• Product Development

  • Be the program owner for development projects within the 120mm MBT portfolio.

• Program Performance and Metrics

  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to programs.

Desired Qualifications

• Education at minimum bachelor level, master preferred, relevant work experience can compensate for lack of education level.

• Project management experience

• Fluent in our working language – English

• Knowledge of how to work in a Matrix organization.

• Knowledge of Nammo`s current products relevant for the program.
