The mechanical department at Nammo Raufoss is looking for a toolmaker to join our professional environment. As a toolmaker with us, you will have a central role in the development, production and maintenance of tools. The position involves varied tasks, from prototyping and customizing tools to following up apprentices and contributing to professional development in the department. We are looking for a committed and solution-oriented employee with a high level of technical understanding, who wants to contribute to continuous improvement, sharing of knowledge and further development of both professionals and people.

Tasks:

• Planning and ordering tools for production

• Preparing tools and equipment for production

• Responsibility for stocking tools and equipment

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience in mechanical production

• Technical understanding and ability to read drawings

• Experience with improvement work and LEAN methodology

• Experience with logistics and ordering systems
