Nammo Raufoss is now looking for a dedicated test engineer in the propulsion systems group at its test center at Raufoss. When needed, the test engineer will act as a back-up for one of our 3 test managers at the test center. This will therefore be an exciting combined role in a strong professional environment consisting of approx. 45 skilled employees. The propulsion systems group conducts development tests, qualification tests and production tests of shoulder-fired systems (M72), solid fuel engines, ramjet engines and aerospace products.
As a test engineer, you will be a key player in the daily operations by contributing to projects and continuous improvement work. You will get to use your practical and analytical skills, and must be proactive to find good solutions when testing new products. There are varied days when many different test programs must be prepared, while large and small projects must be followed up.
As a test manager, you will, together with project and program managers, carry out tests in accordance with requirements, and ensure daily allocation of resources for the implementation of test assignments in accordance with requisition and safety instructions.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Ensure that we have sufficient quality of routines, methods, work instructions, risk assessments and safety instructions.
Contribute to various projects so that the test center has the right capacity and capability to carry out various tests.
Continuous follow-up of HSE activities, measurement uncertainty, calibration and quality deviations.
Be an active contributor to the test center's improvement work (LEAN).
Participate in the planning and execution of customer visits and demonstrations at the test center.
Qualifications:
Relevant engineering education or vocational school education
Work experience from automation/electronics/ICT or other relevant technology.
PLS and/or LabWiew knowledge is an advantage.
Practical experience from projects or documentation of processes.
Knowledge of improvement work (6Sigma, Lean).
Good written and oral skills in Norwegian and English.
