Are you our new employee in Receiving Inspection?

Receiving Inspection is organized under Nammo Raufoss Purchasing under "Shared service". The purchasing function is responsible for all Nammo Raufoss' registered suppliers. For suppliers of Direct materials (raw materials and components that are included in or necessary for production), the purchasing department is responsible for ordering, transportation, delivery and approval of purchased goods to stock.

We see an increasing volume in raw materials and components, as well as the number of deliveries to our production of ammunition and rocket engines. The quality function in the purchasing department currently consists of 10 people who cover both rockets and ammunition. Inspection is an essential task in the department, and all types of goods require inspection and/or a certificate approval.

Work tasks may consist of:

• Document control

• Sampling and requisitioning

• Conducting tests and measurements

• Approving the item according to inspection instructions

• Pick-up and up/down packing of motor tubes

• Registering deviations and participating in deviation processing.

As a reception inspector, you will work independently and this will require you to be motivated, accurate in your performance and collaborate with other inspectors in the department. You must be detail-oriented and work according to procedures and instructions. Knowledge of reading drawing details and requirement specifications is an advantage, but not essential.

You participate in meetings and work closely with the various engineers in the quality department. Knowledge of the use of various computer tools and software is an advantage. It is desirable to have experience from industry and preferably a forklift driver's license. Emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
