Nammo Raufoss is growing, and Large Caliber Systems is in an exciting phase with significant development activity within large calibers. To ensure good follow-up and progress, we want to strengthen the program function.

As Program Coordinator R&D (research and development), you will have the main responsibility for following up development within large caliber ammunition. You will work closely with the program management and have a central role in coordinating and driving development projects forward. The position is part of a robust program function where we work closely together.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

You will be the project owner for development projects on behalf of and in consultation with the program director. You will be responsible for keeping the threads together between different stakeholders, steering committees and the project organization. This means that you have an overview of both the business aspects, such as business cases and mandates, and the technical aspects. You will also be involved in sales processes when we sell in new R&D projects, and provide technical support to sales and marketing where needed.

In practice, it is about coordinating steering committees and ensuring good progress, having ownership of projects throughout the course from business case to delivery, coordinating project organization, representing Large Caliber Systems in the sales process of R&D projects and being technical support to sales and marketing.

We are looking for you who have

  • MSc/BSc or equivalent in relevant subjects such as economics, management, technical subjects or innovation

  • Experience in project management or project follow-up in industry

  • Technical understanding and ability to understand interdisciplinary issues

  • Good experience with product development, technology, processes and platforms

  • Experience working in matrix organization

  • Good oral and written English skills
