We are looking for experienced system engineers who will have the technical responsibility in development projects and production programs within rocket engines. You will ensure that our products meet customer requirements and needs, and contribute to the development of advanced solutions that form the basis for future defense and aerospace technology.

We are experiencing strong growth in demand for our products and services, and have a number of exciting projects underway. Therefore, we are now strengthening the team at Nammo Raufoss.

What the job is about

Our projects go all the way from development to production and delivery, and we have both development, test facilities and production together at Raufoss. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with national and international companies and institutions, as well as suppliers and customers.

Work tasks:

  • Management and coordination of the technical project work

  • Be technically responsible in one or more development projects and/or production programs

  • Communication with customer and partners

  • Preparation of technical documentation

  • Systematic work with product requirements and requirements breakdown

  • Ensure that good product solutions are chosen

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant education (BSc, MSc, PhD) in one or more of the disciplines machine, mechanics, materials technology, chemistry, physics, mechanical design, aerospace, manufacturing, product development, process development, systems engineering or equivalent

  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in relevant discipline

  • Good product understanding of our products, or ability to quickly acquire this (training will be provided)

  • Ability to see the big picture while keeping an eye on the important details and having an understanding of connections and interfaces

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

  • Good written and oral skills in Norwegian and English
