
As a test engineer, we've done everything from conducting tests deep down at the bottom of the ocean to sending our own developed rocket all the way up to space. Does that sound exciting?
The test engineer will be part of the test center at Bradalsmyra just outside Raufoss, which consists of approx. 55 skilled employees. These perform and document a number of tests in environmental simulation, ammunition, propulsion systems / rocket engines, offshore, defense material etc.
Responsibilities and tasks:
We are looking for you to actively contribute to the department and perform measurement technology tasks at the test center. You will be responsible for visual documentation and analysis of tests using High speed cameras, drones, Flight Follower, thermography, ROV, photo and video etc. You will help plan upcoming tests and carry out fieldwork during the actual testing. Afterwards, you will edit collected video by processing and analyzing visual data.
Qualifications:
High school or vocational school education in electronics, film or similar.
Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
Good knowledge and interest in electronics and technology
Good computer skills and ability to interpret/analyze data
Knowledge and interest in photography, video and editing is desirable
