
The Explosives Division at Nammo Raufoss AS produces energetic materials, ammunition components, shoulder-fired rocket systems, and finished ammunition for military use, and is a key contributor to national and international security.
The Explosives Division has approximately 190 employees, and the Process Department consists of 25 engineers with diverse backgrounds and a high level of technical expertise. Our engineers provide essential support to production and are responsible for ensuring stable and efficient production processes through production support, industrialization, continuous improvement, modernization, and automation of both new and existing production lines.
To handle increasing activity, we are seeking additional process engineers. With us, you’ll become part of a strong, interdisciplinary team with broad expertise in products, production technology, and industrial processes. We’re looking for someone who wants to actively contribute to the development, efficiency, and future growth of the department.
Your day-to-day work in brief:
Identify and implement improvement measures and optimize production processes
Contribute to the implementation of projects, automation, and technology development
Monitoring production processes and product areas
Collaborating with operators, technical staff, and product owners
Ensuring quality and updating documentation and operating procedures
Assist with technical challenges and nonconformities
We are looking for someone who has:
An interest in the continuous improvement and development of production processes
Experience in the manufacturing industry, product and/or process development
Technical education at the vocational school, bachelor’s, or master’s level. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and translate insights into practical solutions
Initiative, execution skills, and a desire to deliver results
Ability to prioritize and adapt to changes in a dynamic production environment
