Nammo is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialty ammunition and rocket motors, and its portfolio includes aerospace and ramjet technology. Nammo Raufoss is the largest company in the Nammo Group and has co-located its development, production, and test center in Raufoss. The Aerospace Propulsion business area has over 200 skilled engineers working on the development of new products. An important part of the development work involves analyzing advanced technology, complex and innovative design solutions, and modern production methods. As an engineer with us, you’ll follow the products closely from the concept phase through to series production.
Are you curious about whether you can apply your expertise in a company that works with high-tech products? Through the Nammo Engineer Program, you’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself, your abilities, and your interests across various disciplines at our company.
You’ll be hired as a permanent employee from day one, and during the first two years, you’ll have the opportunity to work in several different R&D departments, such as analysis, electronics, chemistry and materials, design, systems and testing, as well as quality assurance, logistics, and production. Once this period is over, we’ll work together to determine which department best suits you and your skills. This program offers you a rare opportunity to build solid experience across disciplines, while also allowing you to explore where you thrive the most.
The program starts on September 1, 2027.
We’re looking for recent graduates with a BSc, MSc, or PhD; a vocational certificate will be viewed favorably. If you have a few years of work experience, we’re also interested in you.
Relevant fields of study include mechanical engineering, electronics, physics, chemistry, materials science, and aerospace engineering, but other technical and natural science disciplines may also be of interest. The Nammo Engineer Program will provide an introduction to the development and production of rocket engines and propulsion systems.
