At Nammo, you’ll play a key role in the production of plastic and training ammunition used by the defense sector. The products you and your team help develop and manufacture are essential for the safe and effective training of defense personnel, both nationally and internationally.

A key role in a modern manufacturing company
After more than 40 years with the company, the current department head is retiring, and we are now seeking his successor. This is a unique opportunity to take over responsibility for a well-established department with a high level of expertise and great significance to the business.

The position is based in Aurskog, where you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the injection molding department. The department consists of 19 modern injection molding machines of various sizes and produces a wide range of products. You will lead a dedicated team of five employees and have full personnel responsibility.

Your responsibilities:

  • Planning and prioritizing tasks within your department

  • Developing employees and department procedures

  • Participating in and supporting testing and development work

  • Ensuring that health, safety, and the environment (HSE) standards are upheld in the department

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience with management and personnel responsibility.

  • Experience in injection molding or another sector of the plastics industry.

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

  • Experience using an ERP system.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Strong written and spoken Norwegian and English skills.
