At Nammo Raufoss' department in Aurskog, we develop and produce plastic and practice ammunition. We have a good working environment, modern production equipment and a high degree of automation. The department is now looking for a committed department manager for its test center at Aurskog.
About the role
As a department manager at the test center, you will have overall responsibility for conducting tests and daily quality control. Good communication and interaction with the production departments will therefore be an important part of the position. At the same time, you are analytical and a good problem solver who can make holistic assessments based on measurements and test results. You contribute to good structure and ensure that test procedures and results are properly documented.
Your workplace will be in Aurskog, where you will be responsible for the daily operation of the test center. You will lead a team of 5 people for whom you will have personnel responsibility. You are a good relationship builder who can develop and inspire the employees in your own department.
Your duties will include:
Planning and prioritization of tasks to be performed
Development of staff and routines in the department
Participate and support in testing and development work
Make sure that HSE is taken care of in the department
The following experience and qualifications will be relevant
Technical education, preferably vocational school or Bachelor's degree
Experience with management and personnel responsibility
Previous experience from control and quality work
Knowledge of measurement technology
Be able to read and understand technical drawings
Good computer skills
Good Norwegian and English skills, written and oral
Knowledge and experience with weapons and ammunition will be an advantage
