Nammo is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of specialty ammunition and rocket motors. The Plastics and Training Ammunition Division is a subdivision of Nammo Raufoss and is located in the municipality of Aurskog-Høland in Akershus. The division manufactures ammunition-related plastic components and training ammunition.
As a project manager at Nammo, you will be part of an environment that promotes innovation and creative solutions through interdisciplinary problem-solving. As a coordinator, you will also help align requirements with the development of subcomponents in close collaboration with the production team, and see the results in complex systems and products.
In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and qualification of products at Aurskog. Furthermore, you will be responsible for overseeing interdisciplinary projects between Aurskog and Raufoss. This involves, for example, driving component development for ammunition products, including monitoring concept and development tests in the development projects. In this role, you will collaborate extensively with internal and external professional teams and have financial responsibility.

You will be based in the Project Management department at R&D Ammunition in Raufoss, where you will have your professional affiliation. We envision you working primarily in Aurskog, with occasional office days in Raufoss.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as technology, economics, and/or management.
A strong interest in project management, preferably within product development.
Knowledge of innovation methodology, service design, and agile methods.
Knowledge of the Prince2 project methodology, LEAN principles, and Six Sigma is a plus.
Knowledge of thermoplastic products and manufacturing processes for plastic components is a plus.
Knowledge of ammunition and how it works is a plus.
A background in the Norwegian Armed Forces, the Norwegian Air Force Academy (FMA), or the Norwegian Air Force School (FLO) is an advantage.
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
