To succeed in this role, you must be self-reliant and work in a structured and efficient manner. You are passionate about project management as a discipline, have a solid understanding of financial management, and enjoy leading people. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing out our technology and development projects. This involves extensive collaboration with internal and external professional communities, customer contact, and financial responsibility.
Mechanical design, materials science, chemistry, electronics, and ballistics are some of the disciplines involved in our projects. Knowledge of one or more of these areas is an advantage, but in-depth expertise is not required for the project manager role. Experience in industrial production is a plus, but not a requirement.
Product Development Project Manager
Development of new products and systems based on available and applicable technology (TRL/MRL 5–8)
Technology Development Project Manager
Development and early-phase application of new technology, with the goal of further developing the technology for use in a product (TRL/MRL 2–5)
Higher education, preferably at the bachelor’s or master’s level, in fields such as technology, management, economics, and/or innovation.
Relevant project management experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.
A strong interest in and ability to work on interdisciplinary issues.
Knowledge of and understanding of risk management.
Knowledge of innovation methodology / service design and agile methods.
Knowledge of Prince2 project methodology, LEAN principles, and Six Sigma is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
You work well both independently and in collaboration with others and possess high personal integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
You are adaptable and able to handle changes in customer requirements, work methods, and organizational structure.
You enjoy acquiring new knowledge and are eager to share it.
You communicate effectively and make necessary decisions.
You have strong leadership skills and are able to build strong relationships.
You have strong digital skills and are familiar with project management tools.
