At Nammo in Aurskog, we manufacture plastic and training ammunition for the defense sector. Our mission is critical; we ensure that those who protect us have safe and reliable products to train with. We’re now looking for a proactive and technically skilled department manager who can lead our department into the future. The job location will be Aurskog.

We’re facing exciting challenges. The position involves modernizing the department by automating and streamlining manual processes. You’ll have significant autonomy, real influence, and the opportunity to leave your own mark on tomorrow’s production line.
Your key responsibilities:
Day-to-day operations and structure: Plan, prioritize, and coordinate production in the department.
People and Culture: Lead, motivate, and develop the skills of a dedicated team of 5 operators (personnel responsibility).
Technological Development: Be an active supporter and driving force in testing and development projects.
Safety First: Ensure that HSE procedures are followed in the department
We are looking for someone with:
Experience in injection molding, plastics technology, or the process industry.
Experience in leadership, personnel management, and the ability to help others succeed.
Strong technical understanding (you can read and understand technical drawings with ease).
Strong systems understanding, preferably with experience in ERP systems and generally strong computer skills.
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
Who are you?
As a person, you are organized, quality-conscious, and thrive on taking initiative. You are confident in a leadership role and possess strong professional expertise. You thrive in an inclusive and supportive leadership style where employees are well taken care of. You are a natural problem-solver who is equally comfortable on the production floor as you are in front of a computer.
We offer:
A key role in a solid international corporation with an important social mission.
A strong and supportive professional environment characterized by our values: commitment, precision, and consideration.
Competitive terms, good pension and salary packages, as well as generous parental leave benefits.
Flexible work schedules that ensure a good work-life balance.
This position requires that you provide an approved police clearance certificate.
