Nammo is a cornerstone company in the Raufoss Industrial Park with over 1,700 employees. We are an international group that develops and manufactures cutting-edge technological equipment for the defense industry. This is an important societal mission that ensures soldiers performing vital tasks have access to the right equipment. 

The Nammo Raufoss Test Center is a department consisting of 57 people who primarily work on testing products developed and manufactured by Nammo Raufoss. We are now looking for a solution-oriented shooter/operator who can actively contribute to the department and who will be part of the 21-person shooting range team. This team helps ensure that tests are conducted safely and effectively.

The department has seven firing stations and a well-equipped mechanical workshop that manufactures target materials and participates in product testing. We work closely with the Norwegian Armed Forces, as well as with customers and suppliers both in Norway and abroad.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Maintenance of weapons and weapon systems

• Preparation and execution of tests

• Maintenance, monitoring, service, and support of test equipment

• Continuous improvement efforts

• Workshop work and some outdoor field work

• External assignments

We are looking for someone who has:

• A trade certificate in relevant fields, e.g., electrical, mechanical, or weapons. Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education

• Interest in shooting and testing ammunition

• Class B driver’s license

• Good general computer skills

• Strong language skills in Norwegian and English
