The test center conducts various tests on Nammo’s products in the areas of ammunition, rocket engines, and space technology, as well as some testing for external customers. 

The test center is located at Bradalsmyra outside Raufoss and employs highly skilled staff. The test center is divided into the following units: management/administration, range group, propulsion systems group, environmental testing group, and measurement technology group.

We are seeking a Software Developer to join the measurement technology group. The group contributes expertise in data acquisition, advanced image processing, automation, programming, calibration, and much more. This position will focus on software and measurement systems, but you will also contribute to general measurement technology, calibration, system development, user support, and more. 

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Programming (LabVIEW)

• Data processing and reporting of measurement results

• Continuous improvement efforts, with a focus on reducing measurement uncertainty

• Setup and maintenance of advanced measurement equipment

• Electronics work in the laboratory, including some calibration

• Some fieldwork in measurement technology as needed

• Collaboration with projects and the product office

• Documentation

To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in electronics. Extensive and relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education.

• Interest in and experience with programming (LabVIEW).

• Solid expertise in electronics and signal processing

• A good understanding of measurement principles and measurement uncertainty

• Strong language skills in Norwegian and English
