The position as Installation Manager
As an Installation Manager, you will lead and coordinate the building's installations throughout the construction process. Your focus will be on the early proposal and program documentation phase where you will be an important cog in developing and describing suitable technical solutions together with the customer. Furthermore, you actively follow up the projects you participate in with installation management in the subsequent design stages. You participate in tendering and purchasing work and also support production up to functional tests when handing over the projects to the customer.

Many of our projects are carried out in close collaboration with other parties, which means that you can contribute with your competence and installation management.

You will be part of Building Southwest's specialist unit where you will belong to a group of competent installation, design and VDC leaders. You will also be part of our large nationwide network with other installation managers where experiences and skills are shared.

About the Building Southwest department
The Building Southwest department conducts contracting activities in northwestern Skåne, eastern Skåne and Halland. We are about 150 dedicated employees and build everything from commercial buildings, schools, correctional facilities, bathhouses to housing.

Your profile as Installation Manager
You have at least three years of work experience in a similar position or as a project manager in electricity, ventilation, plumbing, control and regulation. You may also have a background in consulting or as an installer with equivalent technical knowledge.

  • You are flexible and enjoy working in a team while being able to work independently and in a structured manner. As an installation manager, we see that you are curious, innovative and use your qualities to find the best and most economical solutions for the project and our customer.
  • You have very good knowledge of project management, systems engineering and project planning
  • You are comfortable with developing system solutions, dimensioning, drawing up brief technical descriptions, developing space requirements, making simple sketches and clarifying boundaries.
  • With your expertise, you can contribute and find the best adapted technical, economic, energy and environmental installation solutions starting already in the early stages of the projects.
  • As a person, you are creative and solution-oriented with a strong drive to lead projects or project teams forward and to come to closure.
  • You have a project-oriented holistic approach and easily understand the context and importance of coordination between all technical installations and construction.

 

Additional information
The service is a permanent full-time position with location in either Halmstad, Kristianstad or Helsingborg. B-driving license is a requirement as some travel within the department occurs based on where in our geography our projects are. For this position, we conduct background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
