We connect a greener world. www.nkt.com Develop automation solutions in an advanced production environment in Karlskrona For our Automation and Projects department, within Production Development, we are now looking for an automation engineer who, in a project-based business, develops automation solutions for our high-tech and unique production of high-voltage cables. Develop solutions for automation in a collaborative team We are committed to updating production with the latest technology and developed innovative automation systems for our cable production. Before automation solutions are implemented in production, we have a lab where our employees can test and quality assure their automation solutions. Your main tasks will be: * PLC programming and electrical design on machines and production equipment * Develop small and large automation solutions in project form * Review and validation of automation and electrical design solutions both on new machines and when rebuilding existing machines * Line support for production and, if necessary, project management As an automation engineer, you will be an important part of the team at Automation and Projects, within Production Development, consisting of about 8 employees who are largely experienced engineers with mixed skills and experience in electrical design and automation. Experience in PLC programming and a collaborative personality We are looking for you who want to work in project form and you appreciate varied tasks. To thrive and do a good job in this work, commitment and motivation are required. You work in a systematic way, take responsibility and cooperate well with your colleagues.
