We connect a greener world. www.nkt.com Become part of a global company and an important part of the green transition Our rebar line in Karlskrona needs to expand its team and is now looking for machine operators who want to work for a global company and contribute to the green transition. Shift work with problem solving and a strong focus on quality and safety As a machine operator in the area, you perform all work steps in the area of responsibility - everything from preparation, setting up future production to execution and follow-up. Together with your team, you ensure that production runs as planned and ensure quality at all stages. As a machine operator, you enjoy screwing and adjusting when needed, as well as facing problems that need to be solved quickly. Safety is number one and permeates everything we do. The work will be carried out during 5 shifts, which means varied working hours both day, night and weekend. Your main tasks consist of: Preparation and setting of machine and equipment Control of operation Quality work Material handling Interaction with other shifts and support departments such as production engineering, quality and project departments Curious, responsible and thorough To thrive with us, you should be curious, responsible and have an interest in developing according to set goals. The work requires that you as a machine operator have the ability to comply with and follow given instructions and document work performed according to current procedures. Structure and accuracy are elements that characterize you in the work you perform, while disciplined, self-driven and flexible are consistent with your characteristics. A large part of the work is manual, which requires you to be technically skilled and accurate in your work. To thrive in the role, you are comfortable managing change when necessary and enjoy working both in a team and individually.
