As a Machine Safety Expert, you will be part of a department working on machine safety, technical documentation and work processes.
Supporting the projects in the field of machinery safety
Our main focus is safe use of machinery, compliance with legal requirements and quality and that the work is carried out based on NKT's business policy.In your daily work, as a machine safety expert, you will support our projects so that the safety aspect is included in the design and construction of the machines.
Your main tasks are as follows:
* Clarify directives and regulations and ensure that technical specifications are applicable to ensure and meet essential health and safety requirements.
* Assist in the development or consultation on the safety concept of the machine
* Provide expertise and prepare the documentation needed for the design, creation and working principle of the machine to meet the standards for CE certification
* Carry out risk assessments
Structured and responsive team member
As a machine safety expert, it is important that you approach your tasks with accuracy and structure. You have a good sense of teamwork and can perform tasks alone as well as with others. You play an important role in maintaining a well-functioning work environment and support effective cooperation within all levels of the organization.
In addition to the above, you should have the following:
* Technical background in electrical, automation, mechatronics or HSE.
* Experience with control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Certification in CMSE, CECE and CEFS is an advantage. Otherwise, it is important that you have an interest in developing in this area.
* Good knowledge of Office programs.
* Swedish and English in speech and writing.
