Preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance As a mechanic at NKT, you perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance close to production. The work takes place in NKT's cable factory in Karlskrona, which is a modern facility with an automated machine park where power cables are manufactured for land and sea. Qualifications * You have an education in industry / workshop / technology * We would like you to have knowledge of welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining * You have the habit of reading drawings and working with improvements * We consider it advantageous if you have previously worked with automated production processes * Good computer skills / knowledge of maintenance systems Your personal qualities We are looking for a mechanic who is meticulous, optimistic, service-oriented and a role model when it comes to safety. To thrive with us, you should have a technical interest and appreciate being part of a team where good cooperation and professionalism lead to good results both in the daily work as well as in the short and long term. You should also be a self-starter with initiative who is keen to see improvements and new opportunities. You are also meticulous, motivated by new tasks and have a strong focus on safety. Your ability to communicate and present in Swedish in speech and writing is important. The work will be carried out during 5 shifts, which means varied working hours both day, night and weekend.
