Develop and improve mechanical solutions In this role, you'll work on the entire design chain - from concept development and layout to drawings and implementation. You will contribute your expertise to project teams and support colleagues in design, production development and manufacturing. You will ensure that work complies with applicable standards and create manufacturing documentation in close dialog with external suppliers. Variety and problem solving are a natural part of everyday life. Your main task will be to: * Develop mechanical solutions from idea to finished drawing * Participate in projects and work independently with technical specifications * Support colleagues in matters of design, machine equipment and manufacturing * Ensure quality and compliance with internal and external standards * Follow up manufacturing in consultation with external manufacturers The position is located in Karlskrona. You also have: * A degree in engineering, marine or mechanical engineering * Previous experience in similar design roles * Good knowledge of 3D CAD and drawing production * Fluent in Swedish and English both in speech and writing Meritorious: * Previous experience from NKT. * Knowledge in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, 3D printing, CE marking and form and position. * SolidWorks (3D-CAD) and Windchill (PLM) system experience.
