Develop and integrate industrial systems in an advanced production environment in KarlskronaFor our Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, we are now seeking a colleague who, in a project-based role, will optimize and further develop industrial automation and system integration for our high-tech and unique production of high-voltage cables. Within the Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, we work on developing OT, industrial automation, and electrical power systems. Before automation and OT solutions are implemented in production, we have a lab environment where our employees can test and quality-assure their solutions. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Leading and managing projects
  • Participating in requirements definition and solution design, in collaboration with automation engineers, IT/OT specialists, process engineers, and system vendors.
  • Working to ensure compliance with the NIS Directives and addressing cybersecurity within industrial networks and systems.
  • Leading and planning the testing and updating of systems and industrial networks.
  • Develop, configure, and own/manage industrial systems.

As an OT Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team at the Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, consisting of approximately 10 employees with high technical expertise, where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and support are an integral part of everyday life. We focus on future needs, technical development, and long-term improvements.  Urgent and daily maintenance is handled by the maintenance department. Profile description:

Experience in industrial automation, system integration, and IT, as well as a collaborative personalityWe’re looking for someone who enjoys working on projects and appreciates varied tasks. To thrive and do a good job in this role, you need dedication and motivation. You work systematically, are efficient, and collaborate well with your colleagues. You also have:

  • A technical degree from a university, college, or vocational college (YH) with a focus on automation or IT, or equivalent knowledge acquired through other means.
  • Experience in a relevant manufacturing/process industry, including work with industrial networks.
  • Relevant training in OT/IT security or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and spoken skills in Swedish and English

The following are considered a plus:

  • Experience working with compliance with the NIS Directives and with strong cybersecurity within industrial networks and systems.
  • Knowledge of standards and guidelines in the field, such as ISA/IEC 62443
  • Several years of experience in industrial automation (PLC/HMI/SCADA).
