Company description:

At NKT in Karlskrona, we develop and manufacture high-voltage power cables that enable the transition to renewable energy.

Job description:

We are looking for a Process Engineer for the Materials Technology department in Karlskrona

We are currently expanding our team that works with monitoring, developing, and supporting our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production, R&D, and the materials laboratory.

We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, interested in production technology, and who can help us further develop our manufacturing of high-voltage cables. As a team, we work to “Optimize production processes through improved quality, higher production speed, and reduced downtime.”

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring production, including analysis and processing of process data
  • Generating ideas for improvements/changes and following up on them
  • Providing support during problems and in root cause analyses
  • Supporting R&D and production engineering during changes and investments

We are looking for someone who is creative, skilled at communicating with all types of people, meticulous, and quality-conscious. You thrive in a production environment just as much as in a more academic setting. In this role, you take significant responsibility for your own tasks and are self-motivated.

In addition to the above, you should have the following:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher, though you may have acquired equivalent knowledge through experience.
  • You have a good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge/experience of calculation or simulation tools, materials science, statistics, or programming

Even if you don’t meet all the requirements—let us know. Knowledge gaps can be filled, and what matters most is your potential, motivation, and interest in contributing to our future.

Contact and Application

We review applications on an ongoing basis, but we recommend that you submit your application no later than August 9, 2026. Criminal background checks, alcohol and drug tests, as well as personality and aptitude tests, may be part of our recruitment process.
