Job description:Take a leadership role in our production team and work in a modern production environment in KarlskronaAre you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and lead a team? In this role, you’ll have the chance to contribute to a company that plays a central role in society’s green transition. Our production is growing, and we now need to expand our team of production managers.
Develop, motivate, and engageAs a Production Manager at NKT, your leadership skills will be put to the test. You’ll lead a team of operators who work with lead extrusion of cable. You’ll collaborate with a team of production managers, technicians, operators, and various support functions. You’ll ensure that our resources—including people, machinery, and materials—are utilized in the best possible way. You will lead a team operating on a 5-shift schedule, which means that production continues even when you are not on site.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and will be responsible for, among other things:
Inspiring and committed leader To perform well and thrive in the role of production manager, you need prior experience in personnel management as well as the ability to engage and motivate employees. You are skilled at handling challenges with a solution-oriented approach in a dynamic work environment and are adept at providing feedback while being sensitive to individual needs. As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and view development as the most important path to results. You have an interest in technology and enjoy contributing to conversations and discussions.
In addition to the above, you have experience leading staff, have worked with SAM (systematic workplace health and safety management), and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement initiatives.
