Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate and lead a team? If you have previous leadership and preferably industrial experience and are motivated by leading people in production, this could be the right job for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a company that plays a central role in the green transition of our society. Our production is growing and we now need to expand our team of production managers to our lead manufacturing.
Develop, motivate and engage
As a Production Manager at NKT, it's your leadership skills that take center stage. You lead a skilled team of operators who work with the production of our cable cores in the form of copper conductors or aluminum conductors. You ensure that our resources in the form of people, machines and materials are used in the best possible way. You will lead a team where the applied working hours are 5 shifts, which means that production is ongoing even when you are not on site.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and will be responsible for the following:
* that active work is carried out in accordance with NKT's management system for quality, environment and work environment.
* that recruitment and development of staff is carried out
* that human, machine and material resources are utilized rationally
* that investment and overhead budgets are prepared, followed up and updated
* that objectives for the department are drawn up, visualized and followed up and that these objectives are broken down and developed within the department
* that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and agreements
Inspiring and committed leader
To perform well and thrive as a Production Manager, you will have previous experience in managing staff and an ability to engage and motivate employees. You are adept at tackling challenges with a positive approach in a dynamic environment and have a talent for feedback with a professional ability to deal with different individuals. As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and see development as the key factor for sustainable results. You have an interest in technology and are happy to contribute to conversations and discussions.
In addition to the above, you have experience in managing staff, have worked with SAM (systematic work environment management) and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement work. Your CV should also include the following:
* Secondary education with a focus on technology or equivalent
* Experience of personnel management, preferably in the manufacturing industry
* Experience of working in Microsoft Office, experience of SAP is meritorious
* Swedish and English in speech and writing
