Take a leading role in our production team and work in a modern production environment in KarlskronaAre you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and lead a team? In this role, you’ll have the chance to contribute to a company that plays a central role in society’s green transition. Our production is growing, and we now need to expand our team of production managers.

Develop, motivate, and engageAs a Production Manager at NKT, your leadership skills will be put to the test. You will lead a team of Operators working in the part of the factory that performs the final stage of cable processing before delivery—the Armament Department. You will work together with a team of Production Managers, Technicians, Operators, and several support functions. You ensure that our resources—in the form of people, machinery, and materials—are utilized in the best possible way. You will lead a team operating on a 5-shift schedule, which means production continues even when you are not on site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and will be responsible for, among other things:

  • ensuring that the department’s goals are established, clarified, monitored, and developed within the organization
  • recruiting and developing staff
  • ensuring that human, machine, and material resources are utilized efficiently
  • Investment & operating budget
  • ensuring that the department’s goals are established, clarified, followed up on, and implemented within the organization

Inspiring and committed leader To perform well and thrive in the role of production manager, you need prior experience in personnel management as well as the ability to engage and motivate employees. You are skilled at handling challenges with a solution-oriented approach in a dynamic work environment and have a strong ability to provide feedback with sensitivity to different individuals. As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and view development as the most important path to results. You have an interest in technology and enjoy contributing to conversations and discussions.

In addition to the above, you have experience leading staff, have worked with SAM (systematic work environment management), and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement initiatives. Your resume should also include the following:

  • High school education with a focus on technology or equivalent
  • Experience in personnel management within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
