As a Quality Engineer at NKT, you will focus on quality assurance throughout the value chain - from order and cable production to installation of complete cable systems. You are responsible for continuously ensuring, improving and managing quality issues in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. Implementing quality improvements that make a difference As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring and continuously improving the quality of our products and processes. You'll be responsible for conducting analytical investigations, enforcing root cause analysis and implementing improvement measures that prevent errors and reduce costs. The role requires you to organize your own work and make your own decisions on a daily basis, working with engineering, production, installation and project management to promote a consistent quality mindset. Your work will help us get it right from the start and create a better customer experience. Your main responsibilities: * Responsible for the planning and execution of root cause analysis * Coordinate initiatives that reduce costs related to poor quality (COPQ) * Improve working practices and ensure "first time right" * Identify improvement needs and adjust processes at risk * Coordinate improvement projects based on quality analysis across the organization The service is a parental substitution of about one year. The role is located on site in Karlskrona and reports to the Senior Manager Quality. Structured, solution-oriented and communicative quality engineer You combine initiative with orderliness, and engage in analysis, ownership and collaboration. You take personal responsibility in your work but value broad contact areas and build trust through a positive and constructive approach. You are able to explain complex contexts in an educational way and you are motivated by improving processes and preventing problems before they occur. In addition to the above, your CV includes: * Engineering degree with quality focus or equivalent * Experience in a similar role in manufacturing or construction * Experience with quality techniques such as 5-Why, 8D, Six Sigma or Lean * Proven experience in leading root cause analysis or improvement projects * Good knowledge of Swedish and English Be part of developing sustainable quality In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in quality engineering in an international environment that promotes learning and development.
