As an OTR assembler, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a varied role with challenging tasks, while becoming part of a dedicated and knowledgeable team. The business spans several different areas where work is conducted both during the day and in shifts (5-shift system), depending on the department. If you have a strong interest in technology and thrive in an environment where collaboration, attention to detail, and problem-solving are key, then this could be the right next step for you.

A role with broad responsibilitiesWithin OTR, tasks include routine testing of all cables produced by the company; departmental responsibilities include routine testing of land cables (high-voltage testing, AC and DC), routine testing of submarine cables, fiber measurements, connections, and surge tests. As an installer, you’ll work on both installation and advanced measurements. In addition to collaborating with your colleagues, you’ll have a great deal of independent responsibility and the opportunity to grow in the role.

Your duties will include, among other things:

  • Test connections
  • Installation of cable accessories
  • Quality assurance of our delivery cables
  • Various electrical measurements

Since we perform a wide variety of electrical tests on cables and accessories, there are ample opportunities to try out and learn other tasks within the department.

Key requirements for the position:

  • Fluency in Swedish and English Preferred qualifications for the position:
  • High school education in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience as an electrician or telecommunications technician
