NKT is a leading manufacturer of high voltage cables and as a Warehouse Operator you will have a significant role in preparing, packing and handling materials and tools for sea and land cables including accessories, to NKT's various workplaces around the world. The transmission warehouse at NKT has material, equipment and tool storage in Karlskrona where we service all our sites around the world with all materials needed to perform a complete installation.
The role is mainly operational and suits you who thrive on order, responsibility and cooperation.
We are in a development phase, which means that you will also have the opportunity to contribute with improvement proposals and create effective working methods together with colleagues.
Your tasks
- Picking and packing of materials and equipment
- Ordering of materials and tools in dialog with suppliers
- Internal and external transport
- Truck driving
- Management and service of tools
- Documentation and follow-up of stock balance in business systems
Committed Warehouse Operator with an interest in mechanics and technology
We are looking for you who are careful, structured and team-oriented. You work responsibly, enjoy order and put safety high, both for yourself and others.
You thrive on organizing and carrying out your work both independently and together in teams, and contribute to a respectful and inclusive work climate.
In addition to your personal qualities, you should have the following experience:
- Experience working in warehousing or logistics
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing
- B driving license
It is meritorious if you also have:
- Trucking license
- Experience with technical warehouse, tools or equipment
- Interest in engineering or mechanics
