As a warehouse worker, you will have a broad responsibility to optimize inventory, manage purchasing and contribute to business development. You will be an important part of a team working on improvement activities according to the 5S standard and contribute to safety work through risk assessments and incident reporting. Optimizing the warehouse function and supporting the maintenance team As a warehouse worker, you will work closely with the UH manager and collaborate with purchasing, maintenance staff and other departments. You are responsible for ensuring that the stockroom is cost-effective and that spare parts are available according to set levels. You manage incoming goods, registration, labeling and positioning of goods, as well as packing and shipping when necessary. You will participate in business development groups for Supply Chain Management and drive improvement work according to 5S. The role also involves producing statistics and key figures to measure the efficiency of the business. The work sometimes involves heavy lifting. Your responsibilities will be to: - Ensure spare parts inventory and optimize stock levels - Initiate purchases based on maximum and minimum levels - Manage deliveries, registration and placement of goods - Participate in inventory and improvement work according to 5S - Support maintenance staff in spare parts issues You report to the UH manager and work on site in Karlskrona. Some internal interaction and meetings within the business may occur. You also have - Experience of warehouse work in industrial operations - Knowledge of spare parts management and logistics - Ability to work with statistics and key performance indicators - Experience in participating in 5S improvement work - Experience in working with purchasing and maintenance departments - Experience with forklifts, - Meritorious if you have a forklift license. You preferably have experience of working in Supply Chain Management.
