In Home Services in Nordre Land municipality, we have 2 permanent positions available as nursing staff, with position sizes of 50.94% and 82.16% respectively.

The service is part of the Environmental Worker Service and Home Services, where you in the position will work alone on duty, but in teams around the service recipient. The purpose of the service and the position is to provide care, health care and practical assistance in collaboration with the service recipient in a professional manner. User participation and care are key themes for the job. In the position, you perform various tasks in a professional manner, in collaboration with service recipients and in line with his or her wishes and needs.

Information about the 2 positions:

Position 1:

Fixed 50.94% position as care worker, starting 01.06.2026. The position involves working every other weekend at night, and 2 day shifts.

Position 2:

Fixed 82.16% position as care assistant, starting 01.08.2026. The position involves work during the day and evening, and with work every 3rd weekend.

Tasks

• Targeted environmental work.
• Practical assistance/training.
• Health care; perform basic nursing.
• Guidance.
• Maintain user participation.
• Communication via Flashboard/PC.
• Companion for treatment and examinations.
• Companion on activities and trips.

Qualifications

• Basic course in medication management with passed exam.
• Experience with targeted environmental work.
• Experience with the professional system Garcia and Mobile Care.
• Ethical competence.
• Driver's license class B is required, and you must be able to drive a large car.
