There is a vacancy for a permanent 100% position as a bioengineer in Landsylegene Dokka and Torpa Legekontor in Nordre Land municipality.

The position will have an additional responsibility for the laboratory at both medical offices. We are looking for a bioengineer to work in the laboratories, it is desirable that you can roll on the other workstations; switchboard, reception and possibly emergency room. We offer a good and inclusive working environment, with great professional expertise, high work pace and focus on patients. If you have experience of working in a laboratory and/or emergency medicine, this will be an advantage.

The position's framework for weekly working hours is Monday to Friday during the day. How the distribution at Dokka and Torpa medical office will be is not determined.

Landsbylegene Dokka is a medical center with 7 doctors, including LIS1, and 6 health secretaries. Torpa medical office has 4 doctors, including LIS1, and 3 health secretaries. We have high traffic, and are looking for a competent and committed bioengineer for the position.

Tasks

  • Independent laboratory tasks.
  • Blood sampling, sample processing and shipping.
  • Inspection routines and supervision of equipment.
  • Patient reception at reception and by telephone.
  • Close cooperation with doctors and other personnel.

It is desirable with an employee who has extra expertise in the Laboratory, but who can also be involved in the rotation at the other workstations. Be it reception, telephone and possibly emergency rooms. We use Infodoc as our medical record system.

Qualifications

  • Norwegian authorization as a bioengineer.
  • Preferably with continuing and further education in relevant disciplines.
  • Desirable with experience from laboratory work and / or doctor's office.
  • You must have a good command of the Norwegian language, both orally and in writing.
