Would you like to help develop the services of the future for children and youth with extensive care needs?

At Regnbuen Child and Youth Respite Care, we are seeking a dedicated leader who combines professional expertise, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to growth.

The service area is evolving and has a focus on development to meet future needs and challenges. Proper task allocation, preventive and interdisciplinary work, assistive technology, and work schedule planning are key elements in our ongoing development efforts.

Regnbuen Child and Youth Respite Care is part of the Social Work Service and is currently located at the Landmo Care and Rehabilitation Center. The Social Worker Service also includes the Snertin, Rudsgata, and Furuholtet units, as well as the Mobile Team. The Mobile Team is organized under the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service and provides services based on decisions regarding practical assistance, training, and guidance. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Professional, personnel, and financial responsibility within the delegated area.Responsibility for quality and internal control, and follow-up on deviation reports and suggestions for improvement.
  • Lead and motivate employees to contribute to the further development of the service within applicable plans and approved goals.Contribute to creating a culture of learning, improvement, and continuous development within the service offering so that the community health worker service provides the right health and care services at the right time and with the right expertise.  
  • Collaborate with service recipients and their families.
  • Prepare work schedules.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration both internally and externally.
  • Be part of a leadership team and actively contribute to quality assurance and service development in the municipality.

Qualifications:

  • Certified social care worker with advanced training in management. Extensive management experience may substitute for advanced training.
  • Management experience from social services.
  • Experience and a proven track record in project management, change management, and development work.
  • Ability and interest in using digital tools, as well as learning and implementing new solutions as needed.
  • A solid understanding of current administrative regulations and legislation in the health and social care sector.
  • Familiarity with Visma Resource Management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian, both written and spoken.
