Nav Land is a newly established office established after the merger of Nav Nordre Land and Nav Søndre Land. We have locations in both Hov and Dokka, with Nordre Land as the host municipality. The office has a broad and interdisciplinary professional environment with 26 committed employees who work together to deliver comprehensive and quality services to our users.

We place great emphasis on dialogue in meetings with both users, employers and partners. For us, dialog is not just a form of communication, but an attitude - based on openness, mutual respect and good conversations as a basis for development and mastery. With us, you will experience a supportive working environment with a focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous skills development.

About the position

As a Nav counsellor in work-oriented follow-up, you work with people who are completely or partially outside working life. You have an important role in motivating, guiding and following up users with the goal of work and activity. The position entails close follow-up of people with complex challenges, and provides scope for independent planning of a varied working day within a clear framework, methodology and goals.

Tasks

This involves, among other things:

  • following up those on sick leave in dialogue with the employee, employer and doctor, and leading dialogue meetings focusing on opportunities for returning to work
  • assessing work ability and assisting users with information about rights and obligations
  • mapping resources and assistance needs of users on AAP, and preparing an activity plan in collaboration with the user
  • following up treatment, measures and work trials in collaboration with employers, health services and measure organizers
  • make professional assessments, document follow-up, and process and make decisions
  • follow up users in long-term and complex processes where disability benefit may be relevant, with responsibility for a comprehensive process and good documentation

Changes in work tasks may occur.

Who are we looking for?
