Nordre Land Municipality is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 75% permanent position in the Home Care Services in Dokka.

The position currently follows a two-shift rotation (day/evening) with work every third weekend.

Our Home Care Services aims to help residents live at home for as long as possible, with a strong focus on quality of life, independence, and everyday functioning. The level of assistance varies from safety alarms to advanced nursing and medical care. We emphasize teamwork, supporting each other, and applying everyday rehabilitation as a guiding method. We also maintain a strong focus on future-oriented and digital solutions within our services.

 

Work Tasks

  • Provide nursing care through scheduled home visits, as well as perform associated administrative tasks.

  • Ensure professional practice in accordance with ethical guidelines, legislation, and the municipality’s goals, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Provide guidance and advice to service users, relatives, and colleagues.

  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.

  • Contribute to responsible and efficient use of resources.

  • Participate in training, professional development, and competence-building activities.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Authorized Registered Nurse.

  • Additional relevant education in accordance with the department’s competence plan is an advantage.

  • Experience from home care services is desirable.

  • Strong skills in written and spoken Norwegian.

  • Confident driving skills in both summer and winter conditions.

  • A valid driver’s license (Class B) is required.
