There are an unspecified number of temporary positions available as skilled workers/assistants at Dokka primary and secondary school. The positions are linked to pupils from different grades, both at primary and secondary level.
The temporary positions last from 01.08.2026 to 31.07.2027. The size of the positions will vary depending on the applicants' competence and the school's needs.
Dokka barne- og ungdomsskole is a 1-10th grade school, with a large SFO department.
Tasks:
- support students both in learning and socially
- follow-up of students with health needs
- collaborate with other professionals and teachers on the best interests of the students
- contribute to and ensure a good, safe and inclusive learning environment
- participate and contribute to an active professional community
- contribute to providing adapted education and facilitate good coping experiences
Desired qualifications and experience:
- approved vocational certificate as a child and youth worker or health professional. Others with relevant work experience may also be considered
- competence in Sign to Speech
- experience from working in schools, preferably with students with autism spectrum disorders, mental health challenges or challenging behavior
- work with foreign language students, for example Ukrainian
- experience with follow-up of diabetes is an advantage, but necessary training will be provided
- requirement that you master the Norwegian language well both orally and in writing, at least at B2 level

- Police certificate in accordance with the Education Act §17-11 must be presented before taking up the position
