There are two nursing positions available in the Rehabilitation Department at the Landmo Care and Rehabilitation Center in Nordre Land Municipality.

One of the positions is permanent. The other position is a temporary assignment lasting from fall 2026 to approximately January 2028 (to be confirmed by agreement). The percentage of full-time employment for these positions can be 80–100% depending on agreement or preference. Both positions involve a two-part shift schedule with work every third weekend, but other arrangements may be possible. In the event of internal reorganizations, other positions within the department may become available.

The purpose of the position includes, among other things, providing basic care and nursing services, and helping to ensure that the department has sufficient and appropriate expertise at all times, in addition to ensuring that the service complies with legislation, policy decisions, and municipal regulations. 

Job Responsibilities

  • The duties associated with a registered nurse’s license.
  • The duties expected of a registered nurse in the department.
  • Patient care and nursing.
  • Doctor’s rounds, medication management.
  • Guidance for students, patients, and family members.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Participate in professional development through external and internal training.
  • Nursing responsibilities beyond one’s own department must be anticipated.

Qualifications

  • Norwegian nursing license.
  • Relevant continuing education in rehabilitation and clinical nursing is desirable.
  • Experience from a similar department and with the tasks typically performed in a rehabilitation department is desirable.
  • Must be fluent in Norwegian, both verbally and in writing.

  • Confident working independently, but also contributes well as part of a team.
  • You have strong values and are committed to decisions that have been made.
  • Maintains a clear overview and composure in a hectic environment with constant changes.
  • Handles frequent patient turnover and unforeseen situations well.
