Do you want to be part of an outpatient team with many exciting challenges and also work in a respite home for children and young people or other staffed housing?

We have 2 permanent 100% positions available as social workers in Nordre Land municipality. The positions include weekly work initially during the day, and with work on weekends. However, this is governed by the needs of the service recipients and the needs of the service. Therefore, working hours may change, especially in the start-up of services and in the mapping phase. Intervals may vary based on the needs of the service and any wishes from the applicant.

The positions will involve close and interdisciplinary collaboration with many different services and departments. We work with people with functional variations, both of a physical, mental, somatic and social nature. The services are mainly carried out in the user's home, regardless of place of residence, but in individual cases guidance is also provided outside the home.

Tasks

  • Follow-up and evaluation of decisions.
  • General environmental therapy work.
  • Being an active driving force within the profession and in the environment with responsibility for supervision.
  • Coordination responsibility and interdisciplinary cooperation.
  • Development of plans, systems and tools used in the daily work.
  • Medication management.
  • Following the service recipient to the doctor or other health authorities.
  • Use mapping tools as a systematic and structured method to capture changes.
  • Collaborate with relatives, colleagues and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Authorized social worker.
  • Additional education in mental health, habilitation and rehabilitation or environmental work is desirable.
  • Experience in targeted environmental work and behavioral analysis.
  • Experience in the preparation of plans, systems and tools used in daily work.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of supervision.
  • Experience in building relationships with users.
  • Experience working with relatives and families.
  • Must have a good command of Norwegian both orally and in writing.
  • Must have a driving license class B.
