Nordre Land Municipality is seeking to fill a full-time (100%) permanent position as a Utility Pipfitter/Pipeline Construction Worker within the Technical Operations unit.
Work Tasks
Operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities in Synnfjellet and Dokka/Torpa.
Establishment and follow-up of pipeline routes and technical installations in the distribution network.
Follow-up of projects related to water and wastewater (WW) technical installations.
Troubleshooting and correcting errors on technical installations.
Participate in the municipal on-call rotation.
Other tasks must be expected, including snow clearing, sanding, and other road maintenance, assistance in other professional areas within the unit, and general operational tasks.
Qualifications
Certificate of Apprenticeship as a plumber, or a certificate in a related construction field. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education requirements.
ADK-1 certification is desirable.
Experience from similar work.
Proficient in the use of digital tools.
Good knowledge of, and skills using, Norwegian and English language.
Experience as an operator on public technical facilities is desirable.
Driver's license category BE.
Driver's license category T is desirable.
Machine operator certificates for excavator and wheel loader are desirable.
All listed qualifications must be valid and recognized for use in Norway, and must follow Norwegian industry standards.
